Bali’s Best Snorkelling

Snorkel Trips: Whether it’s your first time snorkelling, or whether you’re a seasoned snorkel veteran, Bali has some magical spots where you can enjoy the underwater sea life.

Our guide will give you an equipment and site orientation and stay with you to make sure you’re safe, and to point out some of the creatures you may miss if you’re on your own.

All of our trips are full service snorkel trips, meaning we include a guide, full equipment, lunch, transport, boats if applicable, snacks and insurance. All you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel!

Prerequisites: in good physical health, adequate swimming skills OR we can provide life vests and one on one guides. Please let us know your comfort level in the water.

Snorkel on a Shipwreck

The USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting snorkelling spots in Bali. Covered with stunning hard and soft corals, feather stars, anemones the shipwreck has become an artificial reef home to a huge variety of fish. The structure of the shipwreck is also still clearly visible from the surface.

Say hello to the garden eels poking their heads out of the sand in the shallows, and keep an eye out for Blue Spotted Rays, flounder in the sand and maybe an octopus hunting in the rocks.

For your second snorkel of the day, choose to check out the wreck again, or head across to the Coral Garden for more variety.

Snorkel with Turtles

Amed is famous across Bali for it’s stunning and very accessible snorkelling, and for good reason. A super chilled day, we base ourselves at a cafe on the beach and enjoy the gorgeous coral just a few steps away in the water.

We often come across turtles feeding in the shallows so keep your eyes peeled!

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of south Bali, Amed is the place for you.

Snorkel with Manta Rays

Make sure you experience some of Bali’s most epic and majestic creatures with a snorkel trip to Nusa Penida. Share the water with Manta Rays, watching these gentle (and harmless), giants as they glide around and underneath you. Truly a magical experience.

Expect a pick up at around 7am, then a drive across to Sanur where we take the speedboat to Nusa Penida island for your two snorkel adventures in the ocean.

Depending on conditions, we’ll head over to Manta Point or Manta Bay, and enjoy another site snorkelling amongst some of the most beautiful coral in Bali. Lunch is provided on the boat, as well as snacks and water.

Snorkel in the Blue Lagoon

Crystal clear waters and beautiful coral give Blue Lagoon it’s name, and justifiably so. If you’d like to snorkel somewhere that’s still beautiful but a little closer to Canggu, consider a day trip to Padang Bai.

As well as schools of inquisitive damsel fish, you may come across a moray eel, stingray, or even a turtle or octopus.
