IS DIVE EQUIPMENT INCLUDED?
Yes, a full set of dive equipment (BCD, regulator, booties, 3mm, full length wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, tanks and weights), is included as part of every booking.
We also include dive computers for students in training.
For fun divers, dive computers are available at an additional charge, please ask us when you book.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We provide lunch, snacks, and plenty of water. Normally we have cut fruits, homemade cake and bananas available for you throughout the day. We normally eat lunch after the second dive so if you need a large breakfast to get you going in the mornings, we recommend you ask your hotel to make a box for you.

We recommend you bring a hat, sunscreen and a towel on your dive day.

HOW LONG WILL I DIVE FOR?
It depends on your air consumption! Normally around 45 minutes to 1 hour.

However we recognise that dives with us are a full day of your time so we like to maximise your time underwater.

We aim to have our divers dive to 50 bar. Remember the deeper you go, the faster you use your air so we may bring you to explore some of the gorgeous corals in the shallows towards the end of your dive to extend your dive time.

If you don’t have a dive buddy, we will, as best we can, match you with a diver of a similar certification and experience level, or with our guide.

HOW MANY DIVERS WILL BE IN MY GROUP?
Being a boutique dive centre, we like to keep groups small and friendly. Below are our maximum ratios, normally we dive with fewer guests to guides than outlined below.

Fun dives – Tulamben, Padang Bai, Amed – 4:1
Fun Dives – Nusa Penida and Candidasa – 2:1

Open Water Courses – 2:1
Discover Scuba Dives – 2:1

If you don’t have a dive buddy, we will do our best to make sure you’re appropriately matched with a diver with similar certification and experience levels. If we feel you’re going to be mismatched, we’ll add another dive guide to make sure all divers enjoy their underwater time.

WHAT'S THE WATER TEMPERATURE?
We provide a full length, 3mm wetsuit for all our divers. At Nusa Penida and Candidasa during June – October, we may provide a full length 5mm wetsuit if the water temperatures are getting low. Please let us know if you really feel the cold and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

Tulamben/Amed/Kubu 28 – 30 degrees
Padang Bai 25 – 29 degrees
Candidasa 22 – 29 degrees (cold water during June – October)
Nusa Penida 18 – 29 degrees (cold water during June – October)

WHAT'S THE VISIBILITY LIKE?
Normally great!

We’re blessed with normally good to great visibility in Bali, although of course it’s the ocean, so well beyond our control.

At Padang Bai, Tulamben, Amed and Candidasa, we normally enjoy 15-25m visibility.

At Nusa Penida (except Manta Point), we normally have up to 30m visibility. Manta point can be variable as plankton in the water can mean poorer visibility but also a lot of mantas (as that’s what they eat).

CAN I FLY STRAIGHT AFTER DIVING?
PADI recommends you leave at least 18 hours after your last dive before flying or going to altitude. 24 hours is preferred.

Please remember that anything above 300m is considered going to altitude after diving and could compromise your health. Please don’t book to climb Mt Batur after your dives with us!

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING OR BAD WEATHER?
We’re very lucky in Bali to be able to dive all year round, even during rainy season. We may adjust dive sites and locations at our discretion due to bad weather and/or swell. We still dive even if it’s raining – the best place to be then is underwater!
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We understand that things go wrong, and we don’t want to profit off your misfortune.

We put a lot of time, effort and money into organising your trip. We also make commitments to boat captains, instructors, drivers on your behalf when you book. So if you need to cancel at the last minute we normally still need to make full payment, regardless of whether you dive or not. If you need to make changes to your booking, the earlier you can let us know, the more flexible we can be.

20% of your booking is non-refundable, this is to cover our admin costs.
– 72 hours before your trip – 80% refund
– Between 24 and 72 hours before your trip – 50%.
– Less than 24 hours before your trip – 100%.
– Rescheduling less than 24 hours before your trip – Rp900,000.
– Refunds are not issued once a course has commenced.
