PADI Nitrox Specialty Course Bali
Enriched Air Nitrox allows you to stay deeper longer (as you absorb less nitrogen during your dives).
It doesn’t change your air consumption rates or allow you to dive deeper.
This course is excellent for those who would like to add an extra safety margin or if you already have good air consumption and find your dives limited by no deco time.
Nitrox Course Content
Before your practical training, you’ll learn dive theory via elearning online.
This takes around 2-3 hours and is best done in small sections.
You’ll learn about:
- Understand the physics of enriched air relating to oxygen exposure
- Learn how to analyse the gas in your cylinder and why this is so important
- Manage the risks of diving enriched air
To dive or not to dive?
Actually diving on enriched air is not required to become certified in nitrox. You’ll need to complete the theory online and then have a practical training session with one of our instructors. During your nitrox course, you’ll review the theory and learn how to analyse a cylinder and set your dive computer.
Of course, we love taking you diving, so there’s the option to combine your nitrox course with dives, during which you’ll complete the practical component.
Nitrox dives can be done at any dive site in Bali.
Become certified to dive on enriched air with Bali’s best dive centre in a small group at exceptional dive sites.
