PADI Dive Courses

The best quality scuba instruction

Intrinity Divers offers the full range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba, one day experience training; through to the months long Divemaster course.

We normally teach with a maximum of two students per instructor. This ensures our students have plenty of time with their instructor, opportunities to learn and develop skills, and that our dives are not too crowded. Private training is also possible for an additional charge.

We are passionate about providing our students with exceptional dive training. Our experienced instructors will make sure you don’t just reach the minimum certification standards required, but that we help you practice and learn to become a safe and confident diver, whatever course you choose.

Course Content

Knowledge Development

All PADI courses we teach have a knowledge development component that we offer online via elearning.

Elearning costs are always included in the price of your course with Intrinity Divers.

This needs to be completed before the start of your practical training with us. We’ll check in and review the essential aspects to make sure you have an opportunity to ask your instructor any questions and make sure you have a thorough understanding.

Confined Water

Many of the courses we teach also require students to start practical training in the pool (confined water). For convenience, we teach this course component in Canggu, although other locations are available upon request.

Open Water Dives

Bali is blessed with a huge variety of dive sites, with varied topography, conditions, and things to see. We of course can recommend the best sites for your open water training, but if there’s somewhere you particularly want to dive, we’ll do our best to take you there if it’s safe and logistically possible. We normally do two – three dives per day.

Discover Scuba Diving

Discover scuba diving in a safe and supported environment with a PADI Instructor.

This is an excellent programme if you’d like a one-day diving experience without going through the certification course. You’ll learn basic dive skills in a pool or pool-like environment with your instructor before heading onto the dive site for two dives (or three at Nusa Penida).

PADI Open Water Course

Become certified to dive to 18m with a buddy with some of Bali’s kindest and most knowledgeable dive instructors.

During your three-day open water course with us, we’ll help you build your skills and confidence to become a confident, safe and environmentally aware scuba diver.

Continuing Education PADI Continuing Education Courses

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next step in your dive education after your open water course. During your training, you’ll become certified to dive to 30m with a workshop-style course in which you fine-tune your dive skills with your instructor.

Where the open water course is quite prescriptive, we teach the AOW course as more of a workshop between you and your instructor. You’ll complete five ‘adventure dives’ with us. These are dives with a particular focus or secondary objective, such as independently navigating back to your starting point. The Deep and Navigation adventure dives are mandatory. The other three adventure dives are up to you. You can decide these based on your interests or where you’d like to dive.

Rescue Diver

You’re already an advanced open water diver; you usually dive with a guide, but you’re interested in becoming more self-reliant. Perhaps you’ve already encountered problems underwater, or you’ve had a buddy behave in an unexpected way.

The Rescue Diver course will help you change your diving mindset. You’ll learn to increase your sphere of awareness, confidence, and problem-prevention and management skills.

Divemaster

As the first professional level course, the PADI Divemaster course can be taken as an internship or over time. You will hone your rescue and dive skills, whilst developing leadership and supervision skills.

Specialty Courses - Icon PADI Specialty Courses

Deep Specialty

Explore some of the deeper dives sites of Bali as you become certified to dive to 40m, the maximum for recreational divers.

Extending your limits to become deep certified will help you:

  • understand the risks of deep diving and how to manage them, including your personal limits
  • manage gas supply and hang an additional gas supply
  • understand deep diving limits
  • explore at least two different deep diving sites in Bali

Enriched Air Nitrox

Diving on nitrox allows you to stay deeper for longer (as you absorb less nitrogen during your dives).

The Enriched Air course is a handy tool for all certified divers. It will allow you to either add an extra safety margin for multiple days of diving, or to stay longer if you’re finding your dives limited by no deco time.

You’ll learn

  • essential theory and physics
  • how to analyse your cylinder of gas
  • how to dive on nitrox safely

Wreck Specialty

Become certified to penetrate and explore shipwrecks whilst exploring two of the most beautiful and iconic dive sites of Bali.

Extending your limits to become Deep certified will help you:

  • understand theoretical and practical aspects of wreck diving
  • know when and when not to enter a wreck
  • learn and practice how to lay lines
  • practice essential propulsion techniques
  • explore at least two different shipwrecks in Bali

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Buoyancy is one of the most significant factors in determining your air consumption rate and enjoyment of your dive. Perfecting these skills will lead to longer, more enjoyable dives.

Depending on where you’re at now, we’ll help you to:

  • make sure you’re diving correctly weighted, including looking at trim and learning to rig a weight system
  • learn to hover in different positions
  • drill fine movements using breath
  • perfect different propulsion techniques
