DIVE COURSES

Open Water Diver

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. After completing your theory either independently online or with us in the classroom, you will take your first breaths underwater in the pool, thoroughly learning about the equipment and skills needed for diving. After this, we will head out to the ocean to complete your four open dives then voila - you're a certified diver!

Prerequisites: adequate swimming skills, in good physical health


Minimum Age: 10 years, 


Certification:
Open Water Diver, certified to dive up to 18 metres

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to advance your dive skills - you don't need to be an advanced diver to participate! The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your instructor. You may choose your adventure dive specialties based on your interests although Navigation and Deep Dive specialties are course requirements. 

Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification, adequate swimming skills, in good physical health


Minimum Age: 12 years, 


Certification: Advanced Open Water Diver, certified to dive up to 40 metres

Rescue Diver

We see the Rescue Diver course as the first step towards becoming a more independent diver. During the course, you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed as well as learning to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. 

Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver certification, Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care within the last 24 months (you may also complete this with us as part of your Rescue Diver course), adequate swimming skills, in good physical health


Minimum Age: 12 years, 


Certification: Rescue Diver, certified to dive up to 40 metres

Divemaster

The Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with an instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere. 

Prerequisites: Rescue Diver certification, Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care within the last 24 months, A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.


At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification.adequate swimming skills, in good physical health


Minimum Age: 18 years, 


Certification:
Divemaster Diver - as a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training.
